We were excited to host RI Treasurer James Diossa today at Higher Grounds Coffeehouse!
He talked about efforts that he helped lead to buy back medical debt, establish financial education programs with middle schools, and the state-wide Secure Choice retirement system to provide all workers with an opportunity to save for retirement. As Vice Chair for the Rhode Island Democratic Party, Treasurer Diossa also provided key insight into efforts at the state and national level.
