349 Days until Election Day!

Two weeks ago, the election day results were astounding. Victories in Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and California brought new hope. Out of 32 school committee races that Moms for Liberty ran in, they didn’t succeed in a single race. These results reminded us that in spite of the negative things we see in the news and on social media, real voters want responsible leadership that honestly serves the public, not its own self-interest.

But the results a couple weeks ago came from local people standing up to help. The cavalry isn’t coming to save us. Our help is coming from our people who are parents, neighbors, and siblings who had enough and wanted to do something about it. From people who stepped up to run for office. From volunteers who came out to knock doors, who registered voters, who helped raise money. It came from communities who got together to make their own change. 

In 349 days, you’re going to go to the polls, and you have a chance to make an impact. If you want to see someone who brings hope on the ballot, that person is your neighbor now. Encourage them to run. Let’s make sure they’re successful. Let’s make change together.
