This Forum is designed to answer questions about Rhode Island’s elections processes.

Join us for our next DONUTS WITH DEMS on Saturday, October 29 at the Langworthy Library, 10-11:30 am. Our guest speaker will be Bill McCusker, environmental advocate. As president of Friends of Saugatuck River, Bill has worked to assemble local environmental organizations in Rhode Island to combat the litter along our vital waterways.

DONUTS WITH DEMS is a family-friendly series of weekend morning events to gather community members with donuts, coffee, and featured speakers. Our goal is to introduce Richmond and Chariho residents to people in our community who are making positive contributions through their work, civic service, or other volunteer efforts. Suggested donation $10 but not required.

Our featured speaker is Ehren Schimmel, U.S. Diplomat, whose mission in the Foreign Service is to promote peace, support prosperity, and protect American citizens while advancing the interests of the U.S. abroad.

RDTC School Snacks Drive

Thank you to all who came out and donated to RICAN during RDTC’s school snacks drive. A total of 250 pounds of food was raised for kids coming home hungry and looking for healthy snacks!

RICAN Donations for Dignity September 4, 9-11am

Join Megan Cotter - District 39 in supporting RICAN during their personal care Donations for Dignity drive.The Rhode Island Center Assisting Those in Need (RICAN) is the largest food pantry in Southern Rhode Island, and offers food, personal care items and a thrift shop to anyone in need.Please join Megan and share this flyer for the 3rd 'Donations for Dignity' Drive, on Sunday September 4th, 9-11am.

School Snacks Drive August 13, 2022

Let's help our Neighbors! Join our School Snacks Drive at RICAN on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 9 - 10:30 am. Individually wrapped snacks needed include items like pretzels, sun chips, popcorn, juice boxes, applesauce cups, cereal, peanut butter crackers and granola bars. Stock the shelves for students!
